Navigate to the Nova Tools homepage and locate the "WhatsApp Chat to PDF" tool card in the Tools section. Click the card, which displays a WhatsApp icon and the description "Convert your WhatsApp chat screenshot to a PDF document," to open the conversion modal.
After clicking the tool card, a modal titled "Convert WhatsApp Chat Screenshot to PDF" will appear. This modal contains an upload area for selecting WhatsApp chat screenshots. You can close the modal by clicking the "×" button in the top-right corner or clicking outside the modal.
Use the dropdown menu to select whether you want to upload 1 or 2 WhatsApp chat screenshots (`.png`, `.jpg`, or `.jpeg`). The default is 1 image. The upload hint will update to reflect your selection (e.g., "Select 1 WhatsApp chat screenshot(s) (.png, .jpg, .jpeg)").
Click the "Choose Image File" button or drag and drop your WhatsApp chat screenshots into the upload area. The selected files’ names (e.g., "Selected: chat1.png, chat2.jpg") and details (name, size) will appear in the file list below. You can remove a file by clicking the "×" icon next to it. If you select more files than allowed, an alert will notify you, and only valid images are added.
Click the "Convert to PDF" button to start the conversion. The button will be disabled, and a progress bar will show the conversion status. If you haven’t selected the exact number of images specified in the dropdown, an alert will prompt you to correct this. For one image, it’s placed on a single page; for two images, they are stacked vertically on one page.
After conversion, the "Convert to PDF" button is replaced by a "Download PDF" button with a download icon. Click it to download the PDF, named `whatsapp_chat_screenshot.pdf`. The modal remains open for further actions.
