Visit the Nova Tools homepage and locate the "GST Calculator" tool card in the Tools section. The card displays an invoice icon and the description "Calculate GST amount and total with GST for FY 2025-26." Click the card to open the calculator modal.
Clicking the tool card opens a modal titled "Advanced GST Calculator (FY 2025-26)". This modal contains input fields for Amount, GST Rate, and whether the amount is GST inclusive. You can close the modal by clicking the "×" button in the top-right corner or clicking outside the modal.
In the "Amount (₹)" field, enter the amount in rupees (e.g., 10000 for ₹10,000). Ensure the value is positive, as invalid inputs will trigger an alert.
In the "GST Rate (%)" field, enter the GST rate (e.g., 18 for 18%). Use decimals if needed (e.g., 12.5). The rate must be positive to avoid errors.
Choose whether the entered amount includes GST using the "Is Amount GST Inclusive?" dropdown. Select "No" (default) if the amount is exclusive of GST, or "Yes" if the amount already includes GST. This affects how the calculator computes the net amount and GST amount.
